On December 29, reinforcing one of the areas of activity of the Pinto & Cruz Group, the acquisition of 90% of the stake in the company Frincor – Frio Industrial e Comercial Lda. was completed.
Frincor is a company that operates in the industrial refrigeration sector, with a special focus on the agro-industrial sector and headquartered in Sintra.
In 37 years of activity, the design/construction of refrigeration facilities stands out for:
· slaughterhouses and meat processing industries;
· fish and canning industries
· milk and dairy industries
· process cooling (beverage and industrial sectors)
· industrial bakery and pastry making
· horticultural facilities for preservation and freezing
· fruit plants for post-harvest conservation, particularly in a controlled atmosphere.
Complementing these activities with maintenance and technical assistance services, in the areas where it operates it had an average turnover of 7 million euros over the last ten years.
This acquisition strengthens the installations and maintenance areas of the Pinto & Cruz Group, reinforcing our competence and offer in the market.
